Want to easily achieve restaurant-style crispy skin-on duck breast at home? This skin-on duck breast retains the whole duck skin and thick duck meat, with a total of 3 pieces, each approx. 220–240g, ample portion, suitable for daily family dinners, high-protein fitness meals, holiday gatherings, or even making Western main courses.

The biggest feature of skin-on duck breast is that the duck skin slowly releases natural duck fat during cooking. Simply pan-fry skin-side down over low heat to render the fat, and you can achieve golden crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. The duck meat itself has a richer flavour than chicken breast and a fine, tender texture. Simply paired with black pepper or sea salt, it is already very tasty; it can also be used with orange sauce, red wine sauce, honey mustard, or Japanese teriyaki sauce to create different styles of dishes.

🍳 Recommended Ways to Cook

Pan-fried Crispy Skin Duck Breast

A classic cooking method that best highlights the features of skin-on duck breast.

After the duck breast is completely thawed, pat the surface dry. Lightly score the duck skin in a cross-hatch pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat. Season with sea salt and black pepper, then place the duck skin-side down in a cold pan and cook over medium-low heat to slowly render the duck fat.

Once the duck skin is golden and crispy, flip it over and sear the duck meat side. After cooking, let it rest slightly before slicing to enjoy the crispy exterior and tender, juicy interior.

Don't waste the rendered natural duck fat; it can be used to fry potatoes, mixed vegetables, or fried rice for a rich aroma.

Air Fryer Skin-on Duck Breast

If you want to reduce the time spent watching the stove, you can use an air fryer.

After thawing, pat the duck breast dry. Lightly score the duck skin, season with salt and black pepper, then place in the air fryer. Adjust the time during cooking based on the colour, and finally ensure the duck skin is fully coloured and crispy.

Actual cooking time needs to be adjusted according to the thickness of the duck breast and the power of the air fryer; ensure it is thoroughly cooked before eating.

Sous Vide Slow Cooked Duck Breast

If you prefer an extra tender texture, you can use the Sous Vide method. After Sous Vide is complete, pan-fry the duck skin side in a hot pan until golden and crispy to achieve both tender duck meat and crispy skin.

🍽️ Recommended Dish Pairings

This skin-on duck breast is very versatile and can be used to make:

  • Pan-fried Black Pepper Duck Breast
  • Duck Breast with Red Wine Sauce
  • Crispy Skin Duck Breast with Orange Sauce
  • Honey Mustard Duck Breast
  • Japanese Teriyaki Duck Breast
  • Duck Breast Salad
  • Duck Breast Pasta
  • Duck Breast with Mashed Potatoes
  • Duck Breast with Roasted Vegetables

  • Fitness Duck Breast Meal
  • Holiday Western Main Course

If you want to eat simply, actually just sea salt + black pepper + rosemary is enough to highlight the natural flavour of the duck breast.

👨👩👧👦 3 pieces per pack, more convenient for family cooking

Each pack contains 3 duck breasts, approximately 220–240g each. You can prepare a family dinner at once, or thaw and use them separately.

Compared to buying a whole duck, duck breast is easier to handle and requires less bone removal. It is especially suitable for Hong Kong families cooking Western food at home, Meal Prep, or preparing a rich weekend dinner.

💪 High-protein meals aren't just for chicken breast

For those who exercise regularly or want to increase daily protein intake, duck breast can be a meat choice other than chicken breast or steak.

Cooking with the skin on retains the aroma and tender texture of the duck meat; if you wish to control overall fat intake, you can adjust the amount of duck skin according to your dietary needs.

Whether paired with white rice, potatoes, pasta, salad, or roasted vegetables, it makes for a complete main meal.

❄️ Storage and Thawing Suggestions

The product must be stored frozen.

It is recommended to place the product in the refrigerator the night before consumption to thaw naturally. This allows for more even thawing and reduces juice loss.

After thawing, pat the surface of the duck skin dry with kitchen paper before pan-frying to achieve a crispier texture more easily.
