Japanese A5 Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak 1cm|Premium Wagyu|Fine Marbling|Ideal for High-End Japanese Grilling

Japanese A5 Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak uses premium Japanese A5 Wagyu chuck eye, cut to approximately 1cm thickness. It features fine marbling, rich meat flavor, and prominent fat aroma, making it suitable for Hong Kong families to prepare Japanese yakiniku, teppanyaki, pan-fried wagyu, BBQ, or gourmet dinners at home.

Compared to leaner cuts, the chuck eye offers a richer fat content and more intense meat flavor. When seared, the wagyu fat aroma is gradually released, providing a tender texture with a distinct beefy taste. The 1cm steak thickness is easy to cook, requiring no professional equipment—just a frying pan or griddle to create a premium Japanese restaurant flavor. It is ideal for those who wish to enjoy Japanese wagyu at home, for couple dinners, festive meals, family gatherings, or as a gift.

Suitable for Hong Kong families to easily enjoy premium Japanese wagyu dishes at home.

Suggested Cooking Methods

Pan-fried Wagyu Chuck Eye

Thaw the wagyu slowly in the refrigerator's chilling compartment beforehand. Before cooking, pat dry the surface with kitchen paper, then sprinkle with a little sea salt and black pepper. Preheat a frying pan to medium-high heat. As wagyu is rich in fat, you may use no oil or just a tiny amount. Quickly sear each side until golden and crispy, then adjust cooking time according to your preferred doneness. After cooking, let it rest for 1 to 2 minutes before slicing and serving.

Japanese Yakiniku

Cut the wagyu into small pieces and quickly sear on a grill, griddle, or frying pan. Recommended pairings include sea salt, wasabi, yuzu kosho, garlic chips, Japanese yakiniku sauce, or a little soy sauce.

Wagyu Donburi

After cooking and slicing the wagyu, arrange it over hot white rice. Add an onsen egg, chopped spring onions, sesame seeds, shredded nori, and a little Japanese sauce to create a luxurious wagyu donburi.

Teppanyaki Style

Sear with garlic chips, butter, mushrooms, asparagus, corn, or onions for a simple Japanese teppanyaki-style dinner.

Suggested Pairings

White rice, garlic fried rice, onsen egg, grilled mushrooms, asparagus, onions, mashed potatoes, Japanese salad, sea salt, black pepper, wasabi, yuzu kosho, garlic chips, Japanese yakiniku sauce, sake, or unsweetened tea.
