Sashimi Grade Yellowfin Tuna from Vietnam 500–600g/pack | Frozen for Freshness

Our Sashimi Grade Yellowfin Tuna from Vietnam features premium yellowfin tuna loin, known for its naturally vibrant red color, delicate yet firm texture, and relatively lean fat content. It's ideal for those who prefer high-protein, low-fat seafood with a clean taste. Each pack contains approximately 500–600g, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen, making it convenient for Hong Kong households, Japanese restaurants, fitness enthusiasts, and sashimi lovers.

Compared to bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna has less fat, offering a fresher taste, clean fish flavor, and firm, non-flaky texture. After thawing, it can be sliced for sashimi, sushi, tuna donburi, poke bowls, or salad toppings. It can also be seared lightly for a semi-cooked tuna tataki, perfect for those seeking a light, healthy, and protein-rich meal.

Product Features

Sashimi Grade Quality
Suitable for sashimi, sushi, donburi, and Japanese cold dishes. After thawing, it can be sliced directly according to your needs.

Natural Vibrant Red Color
Yellowfin tuna naturally has a vivid red color. When sliced, it is visually appealing, making it perfect for family meals, Japanese bento boxes, restaurant dishes, and festive parties.

Lower Fat, Refreshing Taste
Yellowfin tuna is a leaner variety of tuna, with lower fat content. It offers a refreshing taste without being overly rich, making it suitable for fitness enthusiasts, those on a weight-loss diet, and individuals following a high-protein diet.

High Protein, Low Fat
Tuna is an excellent source of protein, containing approximately 23–25g of protein per 100g, with relatively low fat content. It pairs well with rice, salads, soba noodles, or healthy meal boxes.

Flash-Frozen for Freshness
Immediately frozen after catch and processing to preserve the fish's freshness, color, and texture. Hong Kong households can store it in the freezer for long-term use.

Large Pack (500–600g)
One pack is sufficient for 3–5 people to share, or can be used in portions. Ideal for family sashimi platters, sushi parties, meal prep for fitness, or restaurant inventory.

Suggested Uses

  1. Tuna Sashimi
After thawing, pat dry with kitchen paper. Slice into approximately 0.5–1cm thick pieces and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, shiso leaves, and shredded daikon radish.
  2. Tuna Sushi
Slice into thin strips and place on sushi rice to make nigiri, gunkan maki, or hand rolls.
  3. Tuna Donburi
Dice or slice and arrange over white rice, sushi rice, or brown rice. Add seaweed, sesame seeds, cucumber, avocado, and onsen tamago for a simple Japanese tuna donburi.
  4. Poke Bowl
Dice into small pieces and combine with avocado, corn, edamame, cucumber, seaweed, brown rice, or salad greens. Perfect for fitness enthusiasts and healthy eaters.
  5. Semi-cooked Tuna Tataki
Quickly sear or torch the surface until slightly cooked on the outside while remaining pink inside. Serve with ponzu sauce, sesame dressing, or Japanese soy sauce.

Thawing and Preparation Instructions

It is recommended to slowly thaw the product, still in its vacuum-sealed packaging, in the refrigerator at 0–4°C for approximately 6–12 hours. After thawing, remove from packaging, quickly rinse off any slight surface salt with water, then thoroughly pat dry with kitchen paper before slicing or dicing as needed.

For quick thawing, place the unopened package in a sealed bag and immerse it in circulating cold water or ice water. Do not use hot water for thawing, as it may affect the fish's texture and color.

It is recommended to consume the product on the same day after thawing. Re-freezing after opening is not advised. Use clean knives and cutting boards when preparing sashimi and keep it chilled.
